2023 Parade Tours & Destination Drives

As each Porsche Parade visits a different area of North America, the Parade Tours offer attendees the opportunity to focus on the unique offerings of each location.   There are those for attendees, regardless of age, driving ability or car (rental cars are welcome on tours). 

Parade Tours are offered on multiple days and times, giving you opportunities to participate in other Parade activities.  We offer Guided Tours and Destination Drives.  Guided tours consist of multiple groups of 12-15 cars per group. Each group has a pre-assigned leader, and a “sweeper” car at the back, keeping the group together.  The destination drives offer alternatives for those with schedule conflicts, or for those who wish to do something on their own.

This year our tours are as much about the journey as the destination.  Although the Palm Springs area is certainly on the warmer side, several of the guided driving tours head up into the San Bernardino National Forest to the west and Angeles National Forest (around Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead) to the northwest, where temperatures can be as much as 30 degrees cooler.  Driving in the mountains will be both windy and extremely scenic, but it will be breathtaking. 

There will be no bus tours or dinner cruises.
 

GUIDED TOURS

These tours are designed to be driven as a group, starting at a common staging area, driving the route as outlined in the directions and ending at the designated destination as a group.  These are not destination drives and are not intended as “can I just meet you at the destination?” tours.
