Parade of Porsches

Join your fellow Parade attendees for one last drive before Parade ends. The Parade of Porsches is just that, a “caravan” of Porsche cars of all models, years, colors, etc., for a 34-mile round trip between Palm Desert and a turnaround point along the famous Palms to Pines Highway and back again. Driving tours to Julian and Idyllwild include this route, but even if you have driven it before, following the switchbacks up from the Coachella Valley is always a treat!  The staging area for the Parade of Porsches will be in the St Margaret's Episcopal Church parking lot in Palm Desert, about 9 miles from the La Quinta Resort, so you need to allow ample time to drive to the staging area from the La Quinta Resort or wherever else you are staying. Last year, nearly 300 cars participated, so join your fellow Porsche Parade attendees for one last drive! It is a sight to behold!!
