Description: Take a scenic, twisty drive from the desert floor over the mountains to historic Julian, California, famous for, among other things, apple pie! Julian is a historic gold mining town that offers opportunities to explore unique specialty shops and other attractions that line the historic streets, ranging from wineries to a wolf preserve. A top-notch lunch is planned at the award-winning Jeremy’s on the Hill Restaurant. You will select from a special menu developed just for Parade attendees. Jeremy’s specializes in farm-to-table cuisine by working with local farms, ranches, and wineries to bring a fresh, seasonal approach to the back country of SoCal. After lunch attendees may wish to tour the Eagle Gold Mine on their own prior to returning to Palm Springs.
