What would a trip to California be without a trip to wine country?! In this part of California, wine country is in the area around Temecula. There are dozens of wineries to explore in this area and most all are easily accessible without long side road drives. The new PCA Vineyard Region sits in this area and they recommend Akash Winery as a great place to visit.
Akash Winery is a family-owned business, named after Ray and Nalini’s son Akash. In 2010, their vision of owning a vineyard became a reality when they purchased a 20-acre parcel of prime vineyard land. Willpower and manpower, friends and extended family, helped guide them along the way. A winery and tasting room stocked with award-winning wines, season upon season of events and activities, and the joy of counting loyal customers among their ever-growing family proved to be more gratifying than they could have imagined. For Porsche Parade visitors, they are offering a $10 discount on their 5-flight tasting package ($20 instead of $30). Parade visitors need to show their Parade badge in order to get the discount.
