Description:  This driving tour, like the tour to Big Bear Lake, initially heads northwest on I-10, but takes a different route through the mountains, to Lake Arrowhead Village. This quaint resort location in "The Alps of Southern California" features shops and boutiques right on the Lake. The beauty of this tour is that temperatures are usually 25-30 degrees cooler than in the Palm Springs area. A buffet lunch will be provided at the Lake Arrowhead Resort on their outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. In case of inclement weather (highly unlikely) there will be an indoor backup plan. Reserved parking will be provided for our group. This tour is definitely a driver’s tour, with an endless procession of twists and turns as the road gains over 5000 feet in elevation, with outstanding scenery every mile of the drive once we depart I-10!
